For the construction course, I had to design a student room with a group of students. The small 4m by 4m space had to contain the following functions: eating, relaxing, sleeping, storage and working. But if you were working in one function, the other functions should be hidden. So we chose to make a flexible unit that could be moved on a rail. This way, elements from the floor and cupboards, for instance, emerge.
